Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s Visit to Qatar
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on a one-day official visit.
At Doha Airport, His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Culture of Qatar, received the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived to participate in the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit being held in Doha.
The summit has been convened to deliberate on Israel’s airstrikes on Doha and the continuously deteriorating situation of human rights violations in Palestine.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi are part of the high-level delegation accompanying the Prime Minister.
Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Qatar and strongly condemns Israeli aggression against Qatar and other regional states. On 11 September 2025, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Doha to express solidarity with Qatar, reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for Qatar’s security and sovereignty, and convey Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East.
The participation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and other Muslim leaders in the emergency summit being held in Doha on 15 September is a manifestation of the strong unity of the Muslim Ummah and the unwavering resolve to establish regional peace.
