Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar Arrives in New York on an Official Visit
He will preside over Pakistan’s signature events at the United Nations Security Council. Pakistan currently holds the presidency of the Security Council for the month of July.
The Foreign Minister will also hold bilateral meetings in New York and Washington, D.C.
Senator Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan at an international conference on the “Two-State Solution.”
The conference is being jointly hosted by Saudi Arabia and France.
Upon his arrival in New York, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Munir Akram, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, welcomed him.
