The Prime Minister met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan. The Prime Minister expressed his condolences over the tragic accident involving an Azerbaijani aircraft in Aktau, Kazakhstan, and the loss of precious lives. The Prime Minister prayed for the forgiveness of those who lost their lives in the accident and for patience and endurance for the bereaved families. The Prime Minister prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. In this time of sorrow, the Government of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan express full solidarity with the brothers and sisters of Azerbaijan, said the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister emphasized the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, based on shared religious and cultural values. Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov thanked the Prime Minister for his visit to the Embassy. The Azerbaijani Ambassador stated, “In this time of grief, the visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to the Azerbaijani Embassy and his expression of condolences is highly appreciated.” Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi were also accompanying the Prime Minister.
