A delegation led by Senator Maulana Ata-ur-Rehman met with the leaders of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The delegation visited Kabul on the instructions of JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman. The delegation expressed condolences to Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani and the leaders of the Islamic Emirate on the martyrdom of Haji Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani. The delegation prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s status. Maulana Ata-ur-Rehman stated that JUI-F and the Pakistani people share in the grief of the Islamic Emirate and the Afghan people. Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi said that the martyrdom of Maulana Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani will not weaken the resolve of the Islamic Emirate. Maulana Ata-ul-Haq Darwish remarked that the martyrs of the Islamic Emirate freed Afghanistan from American dominance.
