Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif addressed participants at the Eighth Future Investment Initiative Conference. This conference is a remarkable initiative by His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman aimed at fulfilling the vision for the development and prosperity of Saudi Arabia and the region, said the Prime Minister. Pakistan has embarked on a path of development after overcoming economic challenges and is now moving towards achieving economic stability, the Prime Minister stated. To open pathways for development in Pakistan, the government has initiated a comprehensive reform process to enhance business activities and increase investment, he added. The vision for Pakistan is to become a center of economic connectivity in the region and to move towards a brighter future based on economic stability and development, the Prime Minister emphasized. With the support of the people and our brother countries and development partners, the government has successfully achieved economic stability in just a few months, he noted. Pakistan’s talented, courageous, and energetic youth are a promise for our bright future and the country’s greatest asset, the Prime Minister remarked. Following the model of Vision 2030 of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Government of Pakistan is also investing in the development and prosperity of its youth, the Prime Minister said. The Government of Pakistan is prioritizing measures to empower youth in artificial intelligence, education, and public health and seeks to establish beneficial partnerships in this regard, he added. Pakistan sees investment in artificial intelligence not only as a valuable resource for addressing agriculture, climate change resilience, and combating misinformation but also as a means of progress, the Prime Minister stated. The Pakistani government is striving to harness the immense potential of artificial intelligence through various initiatives, he noted. Thanks to the knowledge schools and the Education Endowment Fund initiated during his administration, access to modern education has been made easier, the Prime Minister explained. Students from knowledge schools are now excelling as doctors and engineers, bringing pride to Pakistan and the world, he added. Similarly, the healthcare sector in Pakistan is also making strides in development, the Prime Minister stated. With nearly three hundred thousand registered doctors, Pakistan’s medical graduates are providing invaluable services not only in the medical field but also across the globe, he noted. We aspire to create a future in collaboration with the entire world and friendly nations, one that is innovation-based and encompasses the development of countries in the region and beyond, the Prime Minister concluded.
