A meeting took place in Lahore between Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and a delegation of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The PPP delegation included former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, Member of the National Assembly Syed Naveed Qamar, and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab. From the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar and senior leader Rana Sanaullah also participated in the meeting. The meeting involved detailed discussions on the country’s political situation. The Prime Minister stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party is a key allied party in the government. He acknowledged that the Pakistan Peoples Party has supported every measure taken by the government for the stability of the national economy. The PPP delegation praised the government’s economic policies aimed at stabilizing the economy. The delegation expressed complete confidence in the government’s policies and actions, which the Prime Minister welcomed.
