Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met Adviser for Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Touhid Hossain, on the sidelines of the International conference on the Two-State Solution in the UN, their 4th meeting since Oct 2024.

The two leaders reviewed bilateral ties, reaffirmed commitment to deepen political, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as boost connectivity and people-to-people exchanges. Both agreed to undertake high-level visits in the near future.

Expressing deep concern over the grave humanitarian crisis and ongoing Israeli aggression, both sides expressed unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and the just cause, and hoped for meaningful outcomes of the conference.
