Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and held a meeting with him. The two leaders discussed the country’s current situation, including the recent tensions between Pakistan and India. During the meeting, Minister Mohsin Naqvi inquired about Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s well-being and expressed his good wishes.

According to reports, the meeting focused on:
– Regional Tensions: The current situation in the region, particularly after the escalation between Pakistan and India, was discussed in detail.
– Establishing Peace: Measures to establish peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in the Kurram region, were also deliberated upon.
– National Security: Maulana Fazlur Rehman extended his full support to the government’s position and national security policy, strongly condemning India’s aggressive posture.

The interior minister emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to peace but warned that the country will not hesitate to respond decisively to any act of aggression.
