Prime Minister’s Separate Meetings with Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah and Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid In the meetings, matters related to the affairs of Gilgit-Baltistan were discussed. Both the Governor and the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan praised the Prime Minister for the recent economic stability in the country. The two leaders also thanked the Prime Minister for laying the foundation stones and inaugurating multiple development projects in Gilgit-Baltistan. Prime Minister’s Commitment to the Completion of Development Projects “The timely completion of these development projects for the welfare of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan will be ensured,” said the Prime Minister. “The federal government is actively working for the development, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan,” the Prime Minister emphasized. The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan presented the Prime Minister with a traditional choga (robe) and cap as a gift.
